Online Event: Julian of Norwich – The Patron Saint of Sheltering in Place

May 29 @ 10:00 am - May 30 @ 12:00 pm

Julian of Norwich, a fourteenth century mystic, is surprisingly relevant to our time: she lived through political turmoil, religious conflict, and multiple outbreaks of the bubonic plague. Through it all, she retained a spirituality powerful in its optimism, trust, and joy in God. She has much to teach us about the nature of Divine Love, the dynamics of prayer, and the beauty of life when it is grounded in the unshakable confidence that “All Shall Be Well.” Our sessions will explore who Julian was, why her message was so radical for its time (and remains visionary even now), and how we can apply her joyful wisdom to our lives today.

This special online retreat is sponsored by the Vallombrosa Center of Menlo Park, CA. We will gather via Zoom for two sessions on May 29 and May 30. Click here for more information or to register.
